Municipal Fee
The Aston Ambulance Authority receives funding from multiple sources.
The annual fee is collected from residents and businesses located within the municipalities which we serve. Notice of this fee will be received by mail and collected on a quarterly and/or annual basis.
Insurance Billing
An additional source of funding for the Aston Ambulance Authority is payment made by health insurance providers for services rendered by Aston Ambulance Authority Paramedics. If an Aston Ambulance Authority paramedic unit is dispatched to your emergency, our billing service may coordinate with your health insurance provider.
Aston Ambulance Authority partners with HMC Billing to collect and manage medical insurance billing.
HMC is the point of contact for both insurance billing and any / all requests for medical records.
HMC does NOT collect or manage the Municipal Fee for the Authority.
